Is it 'which' or 'that' - 'its' or 'it's'?

Your command of English says a lot about you. But, for many of us, grammatical knowledge is intuitive - we may get a sense that something looks right or wrong, without quite knowing why.

People are increasingly aware that this is a problem.

Wherever you work and whatever you do, a good grasp of grammar is essential for presenting yourself and your organisation professionally. In a business setting, it affects not only how existing and potential customers see you, but also your ability to communicate internally.

Grammar at Work is an online course from The Publishing Training Centre (in association with Oxford University Press) that takes you from the most basic through to the more complex elements of English grammar. Written by John Seely, it's a fun and flexible way to learn as much as you'll ever need to know.

Throughout, you'll have the support of an online coach to help with any questions that continue to cause problems after you've studied the text and completed the exercises. You can do this confidentially, on a one-to-one basis, or in open forum.

Built into the course, as a reference and online index, is the Oxford A-Z of Grammar and Punctuation, providing extra guidance on grammatical terms. You'll also be sent a hard copy of Oxford A-Z of Grammar and Punctuation when you sign up for the course.

Grammar at Work is only 60, which includes access for 12 months and tutorial support.

You can take a free tour of the course by clicking below, or else sign up right away. Alternatively, if you have any queries about the course, or would like to discuss buying Grammar at Work for multiple users within your organisation, we'd be delighted to help - just email us.
